What is the difference between the one-time setup and the monthly plan?
The one-time setup (PKR 25,000) covers deployment, configuration, and 30-day support — after that you own the installation. The monthly plan (PKR 6,000/month) means NextDot fully manages the hosting, backups, SSL, updates, and ongoing support. Both include all modules and full white-label rights.
Does it work on tablets, phones, and computers?
Yes. NextDotPOS is fully web-based — it runs in any modern browser on any device. No app needs to be installed. The minimum recommended resolution is 1024×768, and the interface adapts for larger screens automatically.
Can I use a barcode scanner with it?
Yes. NextDotPOS supports standard USB and wireless barcode scanners for fast product lookup at the POS screen. You can also print barcode labels for your products directly from the system.
Is the online booking feature suitable for salons and clinics?
Yes — that is exactly what it is designed for. Clients can visit your website, select a store, choose a service, pick a date and available time slot, and confirm their appointment. No client account is needed. You can require a deposit payment upfront. The booking can also be disabled completely if you don't need it.
How many staff members can I add?
Unlimited. You can create as many individual staff accounts as you need at no extra cost. Each account can be assigned a custom role with specific permissions to control exactly what they can access and do.
